The primary reason i choose the web address as atyourvice.blogspot.com was obviously because atyourservice.....was not available. So the next best thing was to have a web address that best identifies the contents that will be posted in this blog.
Allow me to explain....
I'm a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) professional and day in and day out i build solutions that have only one motive at the end of the day - "Make your customers happy"......period. As if, this practical experience was not enough, i've embarked MBA School to learn marketing and further understand how customers would like to be interacted and serviced to keep them happy and keep them coming back.
To this quest i've put on a strange habit of gauging the customer service at absolutely every interaction i encounter. Few delighting, some encouraging and many disappointing.
This blog is to put forth every celebrated touch-point i've had, that built a lasting relationship (and impression) and the best of the marketing principles employed in making this happen. At the same time reflect on those encounters (unfortunately many in numbers), that made me cringe and helpless at the dismal show of gratitude towards me as a customer and analyse what went wrong and what best could have been done at that point in time to win over me as a loyal customer to their service.
The viewpoints published in this blog are from the perspective of 'me as a customer' and then if you see any halo above any of the posts that is because i've put my marketing knowledge to test!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, i welcome you to read these posts, comment on my experience, share your experiences, scrutinize the conclusion and pardon my naïveté.
PS: All of the above was to drive the 3 lines below....
vice: is defined as a moral fault. I've to-date failed to understand why 'vice' is present in 'service'. Probably because 99% of the service experiences are driven with short term insight of making a sale or meeting a target at that point in time....hook or by crock!
